Scriptures for Peace
For He Himself (Jesus Christ) is our peace (Eph. 2:14).
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:6-7).
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You (Is. 26:3).
Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace” (Luke 7:50).
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Rom. 8:6).
“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you (Is. 54:10).
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 15:13).
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm (Mark 4:39).
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1).
The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace (Num. 6:24-26).
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Heb. 13:20-21).
My Prayer for You …
Father God, I pray for those who need your peace in their lives. Your Word says you are the God of Peace, and Jesus is the Prince of Peace. I believe deeply and completely that your Holy Spirit is moving in this reader’s life right now, bringing a calm that surpasses all understanding. Help him (or her) to hold onto faith – the faith that moves mountains, the faith that pleases you, and the faith that you reward. Bless mightily today with your peace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
