You can walk in God’s power, His love, and in soundness of mind. Why? Because the Word of God says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:7).
You can live in freedom, not enslaved to any bondage. Why? Because the Word of God says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (Gal. 5:1, NIV)
You can have peace, sweet peace, every day of your life. Why? Because the Word of God says, “God will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in God” (Is. 26:3).
You can be confident that God hears and answers your prayers. Why? Because the Word of God says, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” (1 John 5:14-15). The key is that we ask with Godly motives of the heart and ask according to His will. What is His will? It is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit will guide you in what to speak over your life.
